The RFC-1/B has a new accessory panel option. Model SIP-8 Satus Input Panel is an 8-channel, status-only input panel. It connects to the RFC-1 system like a relay panel but it provides eight status inputs with internal pull-up resistors. The inputs are easily driven with dry relay contacts or open-collector pull-downs. It requires a single rack space. The SIP-8 is shipping now. Some users have reported problems with tone reception since changing from analog to digial wireless service at sites using emulation devices in place of a landline (POTS). The engineering bulletin on this topic has been updated. Use the Tech Support Quick Link below to jump directly to the support area for the RFC-1/B.
