Several customers have asked if it is normal for the yellow LEDs that indicate control relay raise/lower activity to glow slightly when the system is idle. The answer is yes, this is normal and it is harmless. Not all RAK-1s do this and we added small resistors to dampen the visible effect shortly after it was identified.

When any channel is selected on any installed RP-8, the lines will terminate and any glowing will cease. But when the system is idle or if a channel is selected that does not exist in the installation, the control indicator LEDs may glow slightly.
